Smooth Moves by My Vick In A Box

    • With 13.00 points, Blair Walsh had the highest score for a K in the league this week.
    • We won't judge you if you want to bow to Matthew Stafford. He ranked second in the league in scoring with 30.04 points.
    • Do you put a LB or DB on him? You might have to put both on him if this continues. Greg Olsen scored 14.30 points to rank third among TEs in the league this week.
    • With only 4 of their 9 starters beating their projected points, My Vick In A Box was still able to win.
    • By scoring 7.00 points, the Denver Broncos Defense beat their 5.53 projected points by 26.6%.

    Toyota Missed Opportunities

    • Dallas crushers should get prescription glasses. At least we assume that's why they didn't bother reading the expert articles from the Toyota Hall Of Fame.
    • Well, that's embarrassing. Left Carson Palmer on the bench, where he ranked 10th in the league in scoring with 21.06 points.
    • Did not start Martellus Bennett, who scored 13.00 points and beat his projected point total by a team-leading 98.6%.
    • Should have started the Detroit Lions Defense, which underachieved, but still had more points than the starting DEF with 7.00 against a projected 8.96.
    • Should have started Dan Bailey, who underachieved, but still had more points than the starting K with 5.00 against a projected 9.00.

    What If

    • Besides Dallas crushers, My Vick In A Box would have defeated six other teams this week.
    • If My Vick In A Box had scored 22.59 more points, they would have beaten all teams in the league this week.
    • Dallas crushers would have lost to every other team in the league this week.
    • Dallas crushers would have needed an additional 68.59 points to beat all teams in the league this week.

    Game Notes

    • My Vick In A Box won by the largest margin of victory in the league at 46.00 points.
    • Even in the loss, the 15.60 points scored by Rashad Jennings was the seventh-highest score of any RB in the league this week.
    • Although Dallas crushers lost, Terrance Williams played well, bringing in 30.0% more points than was projected (11.00 points against a projected 8.46).
    • No it's okay, you don't have to get up and help us out. Despite being on the winning team, Vincent Jackson scored only 3.60 points against his projected 9.83.
    • My Vick In A Box beat their projected points, while Dallas crushers fell below their projection.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 1

Peyton Manning Den - QB 2013 vs. Baltimore 27–for-42 passing, 462 yards, 7 TD passes, 0 INTs Peyton Manning announced his record-breaking intentions with authority to open the '13 campaign, throwing for seven touchdowns against the Ravens, tying an NFL-record that hadn't previously been accomplished since 1969.

His 462 passing yards were also the second-best mark of his storied career, helping produce a fantasy performance that will go down as one of the greatest performances by a signal-caller to date, with only a Michael Vick explosion against Washington on November 15th, 2010 ranking ahead of it. An interesting side note to Peyton's monster Week 1 effort was that little brother Eli Manning put forth the second-best QB performance, throwing for 450 yards and four touchdowns at Dallas.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
