    Smooth Moves by Steven's Team

    • Expect to see some trade offers for Peyton Manning. He ranked sixth in the league in scoring with 28.08 points.
    • Garrett Graham, who was picked up by Steven's Team, scored 6.10 points against a projected 3.12, topping his projection by 95.5%.
    • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Anquan Boldin have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked third in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 25.20 points.
    • Did you use any black magic this week? Steven's Team was still able to pull out a win with only 4 of their 9 starters exceeding their projected points.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • After that performance, we have to wonder if Finicky Fat Guys cares about becoming a Hall Of Famer at all. That's right, you're being judged by an online recap.
    • Should have started the Minnesota Vikings Defense, which underachieved, but still had more points than the starting DEF with 6.24 against a projected 9.40.
    • All that glitters is not gold. Picked up the Denver Broncos Defense, which scored 3.48 points against their projected 9.03.
    • With 16.30 points against a projected 21.37, DeMarco Murray did not meet his projection for the third straight game.
    • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Chris Ivory during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 5.30 points against a projected 7.57 this week.

    What If

    • Steven's Team would be 7-5 if they played Finicky Fat Guys every week.
    • Steven's Team would have beaten five other teams besides Finicky Fat Guys this week.
    • Had they played each other last week, Steven's Team would have defeated Finicky Fat Guys 87.44 - 73.98.
    • Steven's Team would be 4-6 if they played the same schedule as Finicky Fat Guys.
    • If Steven's Team had played every team in the league each week, they would be 70-62.
    • Finicky Fat Guys would have lost to every other team in the league this week.
    • Finicky Fat Guys would be 7-3 if they played the same schedule as Steven's Team.
    • Finicky Fat Guys would be 68-64 if they played every team every week.

    Game Notes

    • Looks like teams bring their A game when they see them on the schedule. Of the losses Finicky Fat Guys has had, four were against opponents who topped their season scoring average that week.
    • Steven's Team won again and is on a three-game winning streak, currently the longest in the league.
    • Finicky Fat Guys scored 76.80 points against a projected 114.45 and underachieved for the sixth time this season, including the last four weeks in a row.
    • With the loss, Finicky Fat Guys has the longest losing streak in the league, stretching back four straight games.
    • It was the third time this season that Finicky Fat Guys has had the lowest score in the league.
    • The margin of victory of 38.42 points was the biggest of the season for Steven's Team.
    • We don't condone cheating, but this group of wide receivers might want to spray Stickum on their gloves. The 4.02 total points by the WRs on Finicky Fat Guys was their lowest WR output this season.
    • Not going to name names, but some people here aren't pulling their weight. Forget it, Andre Johnson needs to step it up! He scored 5.10 points against a projected 13.04 in the win, and has now scored below his projection in five straight games.

    Fantasy MasterpiecesWeek 12

Fred Taylor JAC - RB 2000 vs. Pittsburgh 33 touches, 248 total yards, 4 TDs Fred Taylor earned the nickname "Fragile" because of the frequency of which he would land on the NFL injury report.

But when he was healthy, he was a sight to behold. And the pinnacle of his career was in Week 12 of '12, when he rolled up the Pittsburgh defense for 248 yards and four touchdowns. For fantasy owners, it was an amazing time to own the Jacksonville back. After sitting out the first three games of that season (we mentioned that he was fragile, right?), he returned to post modest numbers in his his three games back in the lineup. But his 10 game run to close out the '00 campaign is the stuff of legend. From Weeks 7-16, Taylor went straight games with at least 100 rushing yards. And over the final seven games of the season, he amassed a whopping 13 TDs, including a hat trick+1 in Week 12 and another hat trick (and 181 rushing yards) two weeks later.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
