  • Dez Bryant (knee) undergoing MRI on Monday
Dez Bryant will undergo an MRI on his knee Monday.

Advice: Bryant scored in the fourth quarter of Sunday evening's Bears shellacking, but evidently tweaked something. X-rays came back negative, but the Cowboys were compelled to do further testing. For what it's worth, owner Jerry Jones said he's "fine with it," but clearly nothing can be ruled out until the MRI results come back. We'll learn Bryant's status some time on Monday. • Beasley leads Dallas in Week 3 targets
Cole Beasley caught seven passes for 73 yards in Week 3 against Chicago.

Advice: The seven targets led Dallas. Beasley took on less of a role after taking a huge hit in the first half. He's been Dak Prescott’s favorite option on underneath routes this season. Beasley has some low-end streaming value against the 49ers in Week 4. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:20 pm

  • Terrance Williams goes for 88 yards
Terrance Williams caught four passes for 88 yards in Week 3 against Chicago.

Advice: Williams led Dallas in receiving with Dez Bryant not fully healthy. It's a nice bounce back after he wasn't targeted last week. Williams fell out of the gameplan after losing a fumble on the end of a 47-yard catch. He's still not higher than the No. 3 pass-game option. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm

  • Dez posts 3/40/1 line on Sunday night
Dez Bryant caught 3-of-6 targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 3 win over Chicago.

Advice: Bryant briefly exited with a knee injury on the opening drive. He stayed in the game, but was noticeably limited. Bryant managed to save his night with a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, but his lack of yards in two of three games is concerning. • Mike Evans drops 10/132/1 on Rams in loss
Mike Evans caught 10-of-13 targets for 132 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs' Week 3 loss to the Rams.

Advice: The catches were a career high, while Evans now has at least five grabs for 70 yards in all three games this season. He's scored each time out, and already matched his 2015 touchdown total. He's benefitted from the Bucs being forced into comeback, but has a whopping 38 targets. It's been the best-possible start, but Evans has a nightmare Week 4 matchup in the Broncos' league-best defense. He'll be more WR2 than WR1 for that one. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:44 pm

  • Tavon Austin finally has productive afternoon
Tavon Austin caught 5-of-8 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' Week 3 win over the Bucs.

Advice: Austin entered Week 3 with an inconceivable 63 yards on 22 targets, but finally had a productive afternoon. The Rams continued to scheme him the ball, and Austin chewed up some yardage in space. His score was a 43-yarder where he was somehow left on a 1-on-1 island with Chris Conte. The result was predictable. Austin nearly cost the Rams late in the fourth quarter, fielding a kickoff like a punt and setting his team up at the six-yard line. It was a ball that should have been given up on. Going up against the Cardinals' solid secondary in Week 4, Austin will be a low-end WR4. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:38 pm

Dontrelle Inman caught 3-of-4 targets for 32 yards in the Chargers' Week 3 loss to the Colts.

Advice: Inman did all of his damage in the first half, leading the team in receiving at the break. After halftime, Tyrell Williams took over with 6-69 to lead the Bolts. Inman is a tough sell as an add in 12- and 14-team leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:28 pm

49ers WR Quinton Patton caught 1-of-4 targets for eight yards in Sunday's Week 3 loss to Seattle.

  • Wheaton dreadful (1-2-0) in 2016 debut
Markus Wheaton secured one-of-five targets for two yards Sunday in the Steelers' Week 3 loss to the Eagles.

Advice: It took him four quarters to gather his first catch. Wheaton dropped a sure touchdown in the first quarter and was benched until Eli Rogers left the game with a toe injury. He proceeded to drop his next two targets. Wheaton missed the first two games of the season with a shoulder injury and it looked like he forgot how to play football during his time off. • Kerley held under 30 receiving yards again
Jeremy Kerley managed to secure 2-of-6 targets for 24 yards in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to Seattle.

Advice: Since his seven-catch, 61-yard opener, Kerley has failed to hit 30 receiving yards in back-to-back games. Kerley does have a consistent role in the 49ers' offense, but the passing game is entirely dysfunctional and Kerley isn't a very good player on his own. T.Y. Hilton caught 8-of-11 targets for 174 yards and one touchdown in the Colts' 26-22, Week 3 win over the Chargers.

Advice: Hilton did battle against Chargers rising star CB Jason Verrett for much of the day, but got the better of him when all was said and done. Hilton made a slick grab deep down the sideline with Verrett draped on him in the third quarter, and then accounted for the game-winning 63-yard score late in the fourth quarter, running right by the defense down the middle. The knee "injury" that had Hilton listed questionable proved to be a non-issue. Hilton will be a WR1/2 next week when the Colts travel to London to face the Jaguars. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:46 pm

Torrey Smith caught 3-of-4 targets for 35 yards in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to the Seahawks.

Doug Baldwin caught 8-of-10 targets for 164 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 3 blowout win over the 49ers.

Advice: It would not be hyperbole to say Baldwin was open for the entire game. He dominated the 49ers with Russell Wilson in the game, and continued to dominate when Trevone Boykin entered following Wilson's third-quarter ankle/knee injury. Boykin hit Baldwin for a 23-yard strike deep down the left sideline and a 16-yard score in the second half. Kenny Stills caught 5-of-8 targets for 76 yards in Miami's Week 3 win over the Browns.

Advice: It's another solid game for Stills after he posted a 2/39/1 line last week. Stills had more targets than DeVante Parker, but wasn't a factor in the red-zone. He won't be a recommended streaming option against the Bengals in Week 4. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:55 pm

Terrelle Pryor caught 8-of-14 targets for 144 yards in Cleveland's Week 3 loss to Miami.

Advice: Pryor had a featured role with Josh McCown and Corey Coleman sidelined. He rotated snaps with Cody Kessler at quarterback, rushing for 21 yards on four carries and completing 3-of-5 passes for 35 yards. Marquise Goodwin caught 1-of-5 targets for six yards in the Bills' Week 3 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Goodwin was shadowed by Patrick Peterson when he was in the game, and he also appeared to miss snaps with an undisclosed injury. Purely a vertical streaker, Goodwin lacks fantasy value even in games where Sammy Watkins (foot) is inactive. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:29 pm

Advice: With Delanie Walker (hamstring) out, Matthews led the team in targets, but obviously did very little with them. Odell Beckham caught 7-of-11 targets for 121 yards in New York's Week 3 loss to the Redskins.

Advice: Beckham had a quiet first half, but got cooking after the break, running completely free more than once. He got the better of arch-nemesis Josh Norman, but had the benefit of Bashaud Breeland going down with an ankle injury early. Beckham still hasn't scored this season, but is up to 19 grabs for 280 yards. He's still the same player. The explosion is coming, it just might not be in Week 4 against the Vikings' elite defense. Michael Floyd caught 4-of-11 targets for 65 yards in the Cardinals' Week 3 loss to the Bills.

Advice: The Cardinals tried numerous deep shots to Floyd early in the game, but connected on none of them and wound up trying to nickel and dime Buffalo's defense underneath, which didn't work. Floyd scored a touchdown in Week 2 and has gone over 60 yards in his other two games, but he has been a disappointment in fantasy early in the season. He started on the right foot with a 33-yard grab on a broken play on the opening drive, but he only saw two targets the rest of the way. Cobb will certainly have bigger days moving forward, but he has not had more than 60 yards through the air since Week 13 of last year. He will be no better than a WR3 coming out of the Week 4 bye. • Marvin Jones drops 6/205/2 on Packers
Marvin Jones caught 6-of-8 targets for 205 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' Week 3 loss to the Packers.

Advice: Jones easily found space down the right sideline all game. He got open against tough coverage for a 38-yard gain in the second quarter, found the soft spot in the Packers’ zone coverage for several chunk gains, stiff-armed a stumbling corner to the ground for a 73-yard touchdown late in the first half, and got the Lions within one score late in the fourth with a 35-yard touchdown. The Lions could not complete the comeback, but it was not for lack of effort from Jones. He blew past his previous career-high in yardage, and an even bigger day bounced off his hands on a diving attempt in the end zone. Jones has proven himself to be the clear No. 1 in Detroit. With Sammy Watkins (foot) out, Marquise Goodwin is expected to be the Bills' featured receiver against the Cardinals in Week 3.

Advice: Good luck with that. Though Goodwin is set up for an increased workload with Watkins out and Charles Clay (knee) banged up, he has a nightmare matchup waiting against Arizona's elite secondary. • Tweet from Watkins indicates he plans to play
A Saturday night tweet from Sammy Watkins (foot, questionable) indicated he plans to play Sunday against Arizona.

Advice: The tweet -- linked below -- reads, "Ready to go out there and compete at the highest level." CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported earlier in the day the Bills were "still holding out some hope" Watkins would give it a go against the Cardinals, despite Rex Ryan's Friday statement that chances were "not real good" Watkins would be able to play. If Watkins does play, he'll be a low-floor WR3 option against Patrick Peterson. Advice: "You don’t have to force it into tough looks. You can go where the coverage tells you," Shanahan said. "You might not have the same numbers for [Julio Jones] and stuff, but I think the result ends up improving the offense." Julio has nine catches for 172 yards and two scores already this year, but he is on pace for just 104 targets after seeing 203 last season. • T.Y. Hilton (knee) gets in limited practice
T.Y. Hilton was added to the Colts' injury report Thursday, getting in a limited practice with a knee issue.

Advice: A similar move caused alarm last week, but it turns out this is just going to be Hilton's ritual for the time being. Hilton was actually held out last Thursday before ultimately starting against the Broncos. He's a solid WR2 for a decent matchup with the Chargers. Jason Verrett is unlikely to follow Hilton into the slot. Daily Slant: Hilton is second in targets (23) and tied for fourth in red-zone targets (4) in the early going, which sets him up for a huge afternoon against the Chargers. He's going to avoid Verrett while he's lined up in the slot, and with Donte Moncrief out there is little reason to expect his target total to drop. Advice: Baldwin hurt his knee against the Rams last week but finished the game He got in a limited practice on Wednesday. There was never much doubt about Baldwin's availability for Week 3. He'll be in the WR2 mix against San Francisco. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:07 pm

Julio Jones (calf) didn't practice on Thursday.

Advice: He was listed as a DNP despite attending the team's walkthrough. The Falcons play on Monday night this week so it's not time to panic yet. He's dealing with a bruised calf. • 'Some concern' Watkins (foot) will miss Week 3
Bills coach Rex Ryan said there is "some concern" Sammy Watkins (foot) will miss Week 3 against the Cardinals.

Advice: Watkins didn't practice for the second day in a row. His foot injury doesn't seem to be getting any better and at this point, sitting out might be the best thing for him. Even if he plays, Watkins has a tough matchup against ace corner Patrick Peterson. Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin would be the featured receivers if Watkins can't get the green light. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's D. Orlando Ledbetter reports Julio Jones is dealing with a "minor calf bruise."

Advice: The injury was reported as a strain, but Ledbetter reports Jones suffered the issue when someone fell on his leg during last week's game. He is expected to be limited on Thursday, but the injury does not look like it will affect his availability for Monday night's clash with the Saints. Jones will be an elite WR1 in that game. Coach Pete Carroll said both Doug Baldwin (knee) and Tyler Lockett (knee) will be limited Wednesday but are expected to play Week 3 against the 49ers.

Advice: Both went down in the first half against the Rams before returning to the game. Baldwin's Monday MRI came back clean. • Norman to shadow Beckham on outside Week 3
ESPN's Britt McHenry reports Redskins CB Josh Norman will go "anywhere Odell Beckham goes except for the slot" in Week 3.

Advice: Beckham has only run 6.8 percent of his routes from the slot through two games, so this should be a showdown for much of Sunday. The Redskins have drawn heavy criticism for not letting Norman move off his left cornerback post against Antonio Brown and Dez Bryant in Weeks 1 and 2, but they're apparently going to change that this Sunday. Advice: It’s the second straight game Cobb has been held out of the end-zone. There hasn't been much to like about Cobb's role to this point, but he's still the clear No. 2 option. Cobb is more of a WR3 for Sunday's Detroit matchup. Rotoworld.com Sep 18, 9:49 pm

Advice: Jones walked out of the locker room "without issue," and only "jammed" his leg. • Baldwin needs knee MRI and has back spasms
Doug Baldwin will undergo an MRI on his knee on Monday and admitted he also played through back spasms Week 2 against the Rams.

Advice: Baldwin twisted his knee in the first half, but stretched it out on the sideline and played through the issue. He later took a shot to the back in the fourth quarter. It looked like he might have had the wind knocked out, but Baldwin definitely got banged up in the knock-down defensive drag-out with the division-rival Rams. T.Y. Hilton secured just four-of-11 targets for 41 yards Sunday in the Colts' Week 2 loss to the Broncos.

Advice: Predictably, Hilton struggled to find any separation against Denver’s elite secondary. Hilton has now gone his last seven regular season games without a touchdown. That’s not a great sign but at least he’s seen 23 targets over his last two outings. • Kearse goes 2-11 on six targets in loss
Jermaine Kearse caught 2-of-6 targets for 11 yards in the Seahawks' Week 2 loss to the Rams.

Advice: Kearse biggest play was an offensive pass interference penalty that cost the Seahawks a big gain and a first down in the second half. Coach Pete Carroll went nuts on the sideline, as the two teams combined for 19 penalties in the 9-3 game. Kearse isn't worth owning in 10- and 12-team leagues. Rotoworld.com Sep 18, 5:06 pm

  • Tavon Austin posts 5-50 line vs. Seahawks
Tavon Austin caught 5-of-9 targets for 50 yards in the Rams' Week 2 win over the Seahawks.

Advice: Austin was mostly held in check before reeling in a 27-yard catch down the left side. Prior to the grab, Austin had turned 19 targets into 34 yards through roughly two games. The Rams are clearly trying to feed him, but Austin simply has to make too many guys miss to turn nothing into something. He's hard to sell as a WR4 heading into a Week 3 road date at the Bucs. Mike Evans caught 6-of-16 targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Tampa Bay's Week 2 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Evans' 2015 owners will recognize the crazily-inefficient stat line, though it was far from all Evans' fault. He did commit a drop and get called for offensive pass interference, but a number of Jameis Winston targets simply sailed over his head. Michael Floyd caught 2-of-6 targets for eight yards and a touchdown in Arizona's Week 2 win over the Bucs.

Advice: Floyd seems to have left John Brown in the dust, but the problem is that Larry Fitzgerald has left both in the dust, drawing 21 targets in two games. Floyd has 15. Floyd's WR2/3 numbers should be there, but he seems poised to remain frustratingly boom or bust after flashing takeover potential in the second half last season. Jeremy Kerley caught 3-of-6 targets for 29 yards in Week 2.

Advice: It's a step back after Kerley led the 49ers' in targets last week. Kerley is playing the high-volume slot role in Chip Kelly's offense, but doesn't have much value outside of PPR leagues. He's off the radar for his Week 3 matchup with Seattle. Rotoworld.com Sep 18, 3:10 pm

Marvin Jones caught 8-of-11 targets for 118 yards in the Lions' Week 2 loss to the Titans.

Advice: The verdict is in, and the Marvin Jones-over-Golden Tate truthers won. Jones has now amassed 21 targets through two games, and he was almost unstoppable Sunday versus Tennessee, making catches at all areas of the field. Very often drafted as a WR4 in fantasy leagues, Jones needs to be upgraded to a WR2 going forward. The Lions' Week 3 visit to Green Bay has some shootout potential. Rotoworld.com Sep 18, 2:48 pm

Terrelle Pryor caught just 3-of-10 targets for 32 yards in the Browns' Week 2 loss to the Ravens.

Advice: His 10 targets were two more than Corey Coleman for the team lead, but Coleman vastly out-produced him with a 5-104-2 line. Pryor had a late fourth-quarter catch called back after he was whistled for a taunting penalty. The Browns were set up at the Ravens' 10-yard line with 21 seconds left on the clock, trailing by five. Advice: One week after dropping what would have been an 80-plus yard touchdown, Stills ran a great route to catch a 24-yard score. That's the good news. The bad news is, Stills took an immediate back seat to a returning DeVante Parker. With three catches through two games, Stills is looking like a stretch as a WR5. Rotoworld.com Sep 18, 2:15 pm

Dez Bryant caught 7-of-12 targets for 102 yards in the Cowboys' Week 2 win over the Redskins.

Advice: The Cowboys made much more of an effort to get Bryant involved following his slow opener, sending seven targets his way in the first half. Bryant may continue to struggle with consistency with rookie Dak Prescott under center, however. He does have a terrific matchup in Week 3 against the Bears. • Odell Beckham drops touchdown in Week 2 win
Odell Beckham nabbed eight-of-11 targets for 86 yards Sunday in the Giants' Week 2 win over the Saints.

Advice: But it could have been so much more. Beckham was targeted in the end zone in the first quarter but had the ball knocked away by Sterling Moore. Later it looked like Beckham was going to win the game for the Giants with a 36-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter but let the ball slip through his fingertips. This is the first time in Beckham’s career that he’s gone consecutive games without either 100 yards or a touchdown. The bar has been set so high for Beckham that it’s easy to lose perspective. He’s still a freak athlete and a top-five fantasy wide receiver every time he takes the field. Beckham’s next test comes against the Redskins in Week 3. They have a guy named Josh Norman. With Wheaton out, Sammie Coates will see more snaps, but Eli Rogers should see the second-most targets behind Antonio Brown. Jesse James will also be heavily involved. Advice: The routes are also designed to make things simpler for Dak Prescott, who looked lost at times in Week 1. Advice: Instead he'll be blanketed by Bashaud Breeland, who was torched by Antonio Brown in Monday's opener. Breeland is a capable corner but it's still a bit puzzling that the Redskins are content to leave Norman on one side of the field after breaking the bank for him this offseason.
