    Week 12

    • Futher Muckers
    • 9-3
    • Weekly Grade: A+
    • 117.76
    • The Benchwarmers
    • 6-6
    • Weekly Grade: A-
    • 114.26

Maybe Futher Muckers will be able to figure out what the phrase "by the skin of my teeth" means after this narrow victory, edging The Benchwarmers 117.76 to 114.26 to remain undefeated in head-to-head matchups. This week, Cody Parkey was the reason for the win, garnering 21.00 points. It was a downgrade, however, from the 28.10 points Julio Jones got the last time these teams played. Futher Muckers won 104.46 to 71.28 in Week 3, and now has an 18.34-point average margin of victory over The Benchwarmers.

    • The iron toe award goes to Cody Parkey. The highest score by any K in the league to date, posting 21.00 points.
    • The 20.96 points scored by Tom Brady was the fourth-highest score of any QB in the league this week.
    • There are rumors that the military wants to model a new all-terrain vehicle based off of LeSean McCoy. He had the sixth-highest score among RBs in the league this week with 19.10 points.
    • Alfred Morris scored 19.00 points, which ranked seventh out of all the RBs in the league this week.
    • Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Julio Jones posterizing opponents. He had the eighth-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 12.80 points.

    Toyota Roster Tune-up

    • Yes, your team could have been better. But if you haven't gotten behind the wheel of the bold new Camry yet, that's your real missed opportunity.
    • The 4.20 points scored by Mark Ingram fell short of his 12.69-point projection, the third straight game where that has happened.
    • You wish you had a kicker like ours. Futher Muckers won the K position battle, beating The Benchwarmers 21.00 - 3.00.
    • Coby Fleener scored the fewest points on the team and scored below his projection for the first time this season with 2.80 points against a projected 8.47.
    • The Benchwarmers had 5 of their 9 starters score less than their projected points.

    What If

    • Futher Muckers would be 6-6 if they played The Benchwarmers every week.
    • Futher Muckers would have beaten seven other teams besides The Benchwarmers this week.
    • If they played the same schedule as The Benchwarmers, Futher Muckers would be 7-3.
    • If Futher Muckers had played every team in the league each week, they would be 71-37.
    • The Benchwarmers would have lost to just two other teams besides Futher Muckers this week.
    • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, Futher Muckers would have lost to The Benchwarmers 98.04 - 88.78.
    • The Benchwarmers would be 7-3 if they played the same schedule as Futher Muckers.
    • The Benchwarmers would be 61-47 if they played every team every week.

    • Futher Muckers has won four straight games, the longest current winning streak in the league.
    • The Buffalo Bills Defense scored 24.00 points, the fifth-highest DEF score in the league this season, but it was not enough to tip the scales in favor of The Benchwarmers.
    • Futher Muckers beat their projected points and now have a 6-0 record when beating their projection, while The Benchwarmers falls to 4-2 when exceeding their expected point total.

Fred Taylor JAC - RB 2000 vs. Pittsburgh 33 touches, 248 total yards, 4 TDs Fred Taylor earned the nickname "Fragile" because of the frequency of which he would land on the NFL injury report.

But when he was healthy, he was a sight to behold. And the pinnacle of his career was in Week 12 of '12, when he rolled up the Pittsburgh defense for 248 yards and four touchdowns. For fantasy owners, it was an amazing time to own the Jacksonville back. After sitting out the first three games of that season (we mentioned that he was fragile, right?), he returned to post modest numbers in his his three games back in the lineup. But his 10 game run to close out the '00 campaign is the stuff of legend. From Weeks 7-16, Taylor went straight games with at least 100 rushing yards. And over the final seven games of the season, he amassed a whopping 13 TDs, including a hat trick+1 in Week 12 and another hat trick (and 181 rushing yards) two weeks later.
Each week of the season we will bring you the top fantasy football performances of the past 10+ years for that week.
