  • Larry Fitzgerald (knee) still sidelined Wed.
Larry Fitzgerald (knee) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Advice: He's "making some progress," but remains highly questionable for Week 13 against the Falcons due to a sprained MCL. If Fitzgerald can't go, Michael Floyd and John Brown get serious boosts, while Jaron Brown would also be on the radar as the No. 3 receiver. Consider Fitzgerald 50-50 for Sunday. Rotoworld.com

Terrance Williams (broken fingertip) is listed as probable for Thursday's Week 13 game against the Eagles.

Advice: Williams was upgraded to full on Wednesday after being limited the last two days. He'll wear a splint on his broken finger, but it was never a major concern. Williams is just a touchdown-dependent WR4 despite a favorable matchup with the Eagles' secondary. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Each of the catches, yards and targets were the most of Toon's thus far dismal three-year career. He had previously never caught more than one pass in a game. The New Orleans Times-Picayune expects Toon to maintain a role for however long Robert Meachem (ankle) is sidelined. Maclin was not amused, responding "that was not a very smart thing for Coop to say." Cooper later claimed he was kidding, and tried to make amends. • Kenny Stills played on 67.5% of snaps
Kenny Stills played on 50-of-74 snaps (67.5 percent) in Monday night's loss to the Ravens.

Advice: In the first game since Brandin Cooks was lost for the season, Stills set career-highs in both catches (8) and targets (9). So even though his snap count didn't rise dramatically, his usage was the key note. As expected, Stills was no longer merely asked to run vertical clear-out routes -- instead getting high-percentage looks from Drew Brees. Given this new role, his extremely efficient skill set and a cupcake rest-of-season schedule, Stills is an excellent WR3 prospect. Rotoworld.com

Eli Manning raved Monday about Odell Beckham's route-running ability.

"You're able to see right when he's making that cut and he's coming out of his breaks very smoothly." Beckham can get open at will at the intermediate level and put his freakishly big hands (bigger than 6-foot-5 Calvin Johnson's) on display with the catch heard round the world Sunday night. Marques Colston caught four passes for 82 yards and one touchdown in the Saints' Week 12 loss to the Ravens.

Advice: Colston reeled in all four of his targets and did most of his damage in the first half. He ran down the left seam right before halftime to catch a 26-yard touchdown behind Matt Elam and in front of Terrence Brooks. Brooks should have picked the ball off or at least batted it down. Colston finished with the fifth-most targets on the team Monday night, suggesting he may not be as big of a beneficiary as Kenny Stills and Jimmy Graham following Brandin Cooks' season-ending thumb injury. Kenny Stills caught eight passes for 98 yards in the Saints' Week 12 loss to the Ravens.

Advice: Stills was targeted nine times, mostly on short routes allowing him to try and use his after-the-catch skills. The Ravens did a good job on the outside of keeping Stills in front of them. His big play was a 33-yard catch over the top of CB Danny Gorrer, as Stills wrestled the ball away from Gorrer while falling to the ground. Steve Smith Sr. caught four passes for 89 yards and one touchdown in the Ravens' Week 12 win over the Saints.

Advice: Smith Sr. and Torrey Smith each led the Ravens with six targets. Steve's 89 yards were his most since Week 6, while it was also his first end-zone visit since that same game. It was a predictable coming out party for Steve on national television against a familiar foe. He got into several dust-ups after the whistle, most notably with Kenny Vaccaro that led to both teams getting tangled up on the Ravens' sideline. He roasted a hobbled Keenan Lewis for a 40-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter to set up Justin Forsett's 13-yard touchdown. He made a nice adjustment on a back-shoulder throw for a seven-yard touchdown, and also had a one-handed catch in the second quarter. Woods isn't worth targeting on waivers despite the big game. Speaking Monday, Cardinals coach Bruce Arians conceded he "should have done a better job finding ways to get Michael Floyd open" in Sunday's loss.

Advice: Floyd was targeted twice in Seattle, catching zero passes. Truth be told, there probably wasn't much Arians could have done to get Floyd more looks against the Seahawks' elite secondary with Drew Stanton at quarterback, but it's encouraging he's at least acknowledged the fact that Floyd should be more involved. Arians had previously been ambivalent about increasing Floyd's targets. Regardless of Arians' intentions, Floyd has been reduced to boom-or-bust WR4 status with Stanton replacing Carson Palmer. Advice: Reggie Wayne led the way by playing on 71-of-76 snaps, followed by T.Y. Hilton's 59. So Moncrief's count was skewed a bit by Hilton taking it easy (presumably because he was operating on no sleep after the birth of his daughter), but it's still notable that the rookie is eating into the washed-up Nicks' time. It's not overly surprising considering he sustained a Grade 2 MCL sprain in Week 11, which is often a multi-week injury. Advice: Floyd was officially targeted two times and had one 10-yard catch called back by penalty. It's a predictable result as the Seattle secondary eats up bigger wideouts and Drew Stanton had no shot going on the road to the league's most hostile environment. Floyd will be a WR3 stab in Week 13 -- only because the Cardinals face the Falcons and Larry Fitzgerald (knee) may not play again. Hopefully the Colts realize how Moncrief is lightyears better than Nicks and up his snaps over the final month of the season. Until then, Moncrief won't be a recommended fantasy play. He almost had a touchdown on a perfectly thrown deep slant at the goal-line, but Titans S Daimion Stafford made a nice play to break it up at the last second. Still, Matthews is here to stay as a very strong WR3 whose style fits perfectly with Sanchez, his buddy from offseason second-team workouts. Fire him up against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. • Brandon Marshall held in check by Bucs
Brandon Marshall caught 3-of-5 targets for 32 yards Week 12 against the Buccaneers.

Advice: Marshall made a couple early catches but saw his targets dry up as the Bears took the air out of the ball in the fourth quarter. Marshall escaped the game without any setbacks, and it appears his ankle is no longer an issue. He will be a borderline WR1 against the Lions on Thanksgiving day. Rotoworld.com

  • Calvin Johnson goes 4-58 against Patriots
Calvin Johnson secured 4-of-10 targets for 58 yards in the Lions' Week 12 loss to New England.

Advice: Megatron primarily squared off with Brandon Browner, while Darrelle Revis handled Golden Tate. Johnson's cause wasn't helped by Matthew Stafford's erratic accuracy, but Megatron contributed to Detroit's offensive disarray with a pair of drops. Expect Johnson to bounce back down the stretch, as the Lions have a string of cupcake matchups in their final four games of the fantasy season. They'll square off with the Bears on Thanksgiving next. Cardinals declared Larry Fitzgerald (knee) inactive for Sunday's Week 12 game at Seattle.

Advice: Fitzgerald, who was a true-game time call, has an decent chance to be back for a dream Week 13 matchup against the Falcons. Meanwhile, John Brown will start against the Legion of Boom Sunday. Larry Fitzgerald (knee) will not play in Sunday's Week 12 game at Seattle.

Advice: Fighting a Grade 2 MCL sprain, Fitzgerald just isn't quite ready. Considering he was a true game-time call, we suspect he'll be ready for a nice Week 13 matchup against the Falcons. John Brown, the exact kind of receiver that gives the Legion of Boom problems, will start opposite Michael Floyd. Rotoworld.com

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "it would take a miracle" for Larry Fitzgerald (knee) to play Week 12 against the Seahawks.

Advice: Fitzgerald didn't practice at all this week and appears to be on the wrong side of the questionable tag. He's battling a sprained MCL. If Fitzgerald sits, Michael Floyd and John Brown will start at receiver with Jaron Brown filling in as the No. 3. John Brown would make for an interesting play against a Seahawks defense that tends to get burned by smaller, faster receivers. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Fitz "remains optimistic" despite missing Wednesday and Thursday's practices. • Revis to cover Tate with Browner on Megatron?
The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe thinks it would be smart of the Patriots to have Brandon Browner cover Calvin Johnson and Darrelle Revis man Golden Tate in Week 12.

Advice: That's how we see it, as well. Stiff, upright Browner trying to cover quick, shifty Tate has disaster written all over it. Look for the Patriots to put Browner on Megatron, and roll a safety to his side to "double" Johnson. Fire Johnson up as a locked-in WR1, with Tate being downgraded to WR3 range in this road date. • Colston expected to benefit from Cooks' loss
ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett expects Marques Colston to be the biggest beneficiary from Brandin Cooks' season-ending thumb injury.

Advice: Triplett expects all three of Jimmy Graham, Colston, and Kenny Stills to see more targets, but he "stubbornly" admits Colston may see the biggest boost. We tend to agree. Cooks worked close to the line of scrimmage. Colston, as the slot receiver, does the same, whereas Stills is more of a clear-out deep threat. Colston saw a four-week-high eight targets last week and produced his most receiving yards (56) in that same span. We're not expecting a resurgence from him, but a return to WR3 status is doable. Coach Mike Zimmer insists Cordarrelle Patterson will be a "really good player," but admits "it just may take a while."

Advice: Despite becoming a starter playing on 77.1 percent of the snaps this season, Patterson has maddeningly taken a step back. He's doesn't have a full grasp of the new offense, doesn't run crisp routes and simply hasn't been open. It's resulted in 2.8 catches for 33.2 yards with one touchdown through 10 games. Patterson's freakish athletic abilities aren't going to shine through this year. Rotoworld.com

  • Kenny Stills getting a bump for Saints
ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett expects the Saints to rely more on Kenny Stills and Marques Colston with Brandin Cooks (thumb) out 2-4 weeks.

Advice: Stills was quietly one of the league's more impressive rookies last year. He hasn't been overly productive this year as he's executed the Devery Henderson/Robert Meachem vertical role, but he has shown well lately with 21 catches and two touchdowns over his last five games. Now ticketed for more high-percentage routes that Cooks left behind, Stills is a borderline WR3. Colston and Jimmy Graham also get ticks up. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Megatron and Patrick Peterson mostly played to a draw, though Johnson could have had a bigger day if not for some inaccurate throws by Matthew Stafford. Peterson by no means swallowed up the world's best receiver. Now Johnson must contend with Darrelle Revis in Week 12, as the Lions are venturing to New England. • Michael Floyd has two-touchdown afternoon
Michael Floyd caught 2-of-5 targets for 54 yards and two touchdowns in Arizona's Week 11 win over the Lions.

Advice: The scores were Floyd's first since Week 7, and capped off each of Arizona's first two drives. For the first, he pulled down a 42-yard jump ball in the end zone. For the second, he simply beat Darius Slay to the spot. It was a welcome explosion for frustrated fantasy owners, but a possible red herring, as Floyd went the final 36 minutes of the game without a catch. Floyd is an explosive playmaker, but he's going to remain a boom-or-bust WR3/4 going forward. He has a rough Week 12 matchup in the Seahawks on the road. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Matthews stays hot in loss to Packers
Jordan Matthews caught five passes for 107 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's 53-20 Week 11 loss at Green Bay.

Advice: Matthews was quiet early, with just two catches for 45 yards in the first half as the Packers took a 30-6 lead. Of course, that wasn't a bad thing as it led to an extended "garbage time" period. Matthews shined once again, getting open at will out of the slot and making very tough catches over the middle. His touchdown came on a bubble screen, a play he specialized in at Vanderbilt. It's very clear that he's the real deal from a physical standpoint and Mark Sanchez absolutely loves the rookie that he spent most of the offseason with as a second-teamer. Matthews will be on the WR2 radar for a tasty Week 12 home spot against the Titans. Rotoworld.com

Kenny Stills caught 4-of-4 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in New Orleans' Week 11 loss to the Bengals.

Advice: Stills was a bright spot for the Saints this afternoon, hauling in their lone score. He showed good awareness around the goal line, taking a short catch around the edge and diving for the pylon. Stills now has at least four catches in four of his past five games. Advice: Colston made one really strong catch, but also committed a third-down drop. His best play of the day was breaking up a certain Drew Brees interception. The yards were Colston's most since Week 7. Colston has a plus Week 12 matchup in the Ravens' ailing secondary, but he's not a viable WR3. Rotoworld.com

Brandon Marshall secured 7-of-10 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears' Week 11 win over the Vikings.

Advice: Marshall shook off his second ankle injury of the season for a dominant performance in which the Bears picked apart Vikings LCB Josh Robinson. Both Marshall and Alshon Jeffery caught TDs against Robinson in the 21-13 win. With Marshall proving his health on the field, he should be treated as a fantasy WR1 when the Bears take on a porous Buccaneers pass defense next. Odell Beckham caught six passes for 93 yards in Sunday's Week 11 loss to the 49ers.

Advice: After a very quiet first half, Beckham came alive impressively. The highlight was a leaping jump-ball catch along the sideline for a 37-yard gain, but he also went over the middle fearlessly and turned corners around with his route-running ability. Over the last three weeks, Beckham is averaging 7.0 catches for 119.0 yards. It's not a fluke and he'll be a solid WR2 against the Cowboys in Week 12. Rotoworld.com

Rueben Randle caught seven passes for a career-high 112 yards in Sunday's Week 11 loss to the 49ers.

Advice: Just about all of Randle's catches came on the same play -- a deep "in" route that the 49ers defense simply couldn't cover. Of course, Randle was targeted on two of Eli Manning's five interceptions and had repeated miscommunications with his quarterback once again. He also left the game for a stretch in the second half due to cramping. We wouldn't go chasing Randle as anything more than a weak WR3 against the Cowboys in Week 12. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He rushed once for three yards. An inconsistent part of a struggling passing offense, Patterson has devolved into a fantasy WR4 despite massive amounts of theoretical big-play ability.
