  • Bills K Dustin Hopkins a KO specialist only
Coach Doug Marrone referred to second-year K Dustin Hopkins as strictly a kickoff specialist.

Advice: The Bills used a sixth-round pick on the heavy-legged Hopkins last year, but he ended up missing the entire season with a groin injury. Buffalo then signed Dan Carpenter, who went on to make nearly 92 percent of his field goals. The Bills then inked Carpenter to a four-year extension. Hopkins' roster chances are slim. Rotoworld.com

  • Nate Freese favored to win kicking job
Seventh-round rookie Nate Freese is favored to win the Lions kicking job.

Advice: The Lions wouldn't have used a draft pick on a kicker if they didn't expect him to easily beat out Giorgio Tavecchio. Freese made all 20 of his field-goal attempts at Boston College last year and will be on the fantasy radar as a dome kicker in an explosive offense. Rotoworld.com
