  • Week 1 sees wins for NJC, Steel City, Dem Boyz, Immortals, Dive and goatboyz with Immortals putting up a ridiculous 309 pts against last seasons winners Indy. Steel City, thanks no end to Peyton and Welker's 80pts brush aside Gridiron Warriors whilst Dive and Goat whallop Pittsburgh and 9234 respectiviely. NJC manages to put one over his European buddy Jorgen whilst Miss Lacy squeezes past Fire and Blood. Managers of the likes of Lamar Miller, Dez Bryant, Roddy White, Mike Wallace, Zach Sudfeld, David Wilson and Steven Ridley (but to name a few) are left scratching their heads after awful, awful season opening games. Surely they can only improve, except Sudfeld who we'll likely never hear of ever again!!!!

  • Hello all and welcome to the 2nd season of weird n wonderful. There are a couple of changes to last season (of which one still needs finalising...more of that later).
    The biggest change to last season is that we are not having keepers to start this season off, instead we are starting from scratch after lots of weeks of deliberation back in Jan and Feb. It was the easiest way to get the league up to 12 teams. The keeper system will kick in next season instead.

    A big hello and welcome to our 2 new managers....the Warriors are managed by Hebert and the final team (who is currently struggling to access the league for some reason) will be managed by mitch.

    We are changing a couple of the roster settings. I am doing away with the DL, LB and DB positions and replacing with 2 extra flex IDPs meaning basically 3 IDP flexes. Also going to 2 offensive flexes instead of 3...one will be a W/R/T and the other potentially a Q/W/R/T although i have had at least one manager not keen on this flex so it will be voted upon once all 12 managers are signed up.
    Finally the bench will drop to 6 rather than 8 to open up the waiver wire a smidge.
